Duke of Bavaria 2016 - Summary and first pics (beginners)

This year's Duke of Bavaria was awesome on so many levels that it's difficult to decide where to start.

The variety of excellently painted minis, dioramas you can take a look at for hours and still discover lovely details you hadn't noticed before, a great chance to meet and make friends with so many excellent and friendly painters from different countries, to explore the city of Ingolstadt which is really nice, and the great atmosphere at an exhibition and competition where you have the opportunity to get feedback on your work from fellow painters and the jury ... I am glad I participated for the first time and more than happy with the outcome: a silver medal for Tom's Garage and the prototype of 'The Saucepans' in the category 'Beginners'.
