Meeting with friends for a combination of painting, BBQ and watching the World Cup may be the answer you are looking for!
At this point, I could start posting a lot of pics showing grilled salmon, all kinds of German sausages, steaks, pineapple wrapped in bacon and peanut butter chicken ... I know you are reading this to take a look at painted miniatures though. :-)
Take a look at this wild mixture of WIP pics of a Greek goddess on a fabulous display base built and painted by Leonard, the tyranid army DaTroll from DaTrollsKingdom (https://www.datrollskingdom.de/ or http://dtk-bemalservice.blogspot.com/) is painting at the moment, and my wet blending attempts with some war ponies I bought from White Knight (http://whiteknightminiatureimperium.blogspot.com/search/label/Core%20cavalry%20greens) about three years ago.

it was a real great weekend, and a lot of painting sucsesses were made (even if you don´t see them.... try to trybrush and wash 52 gants in one Day ;) ). I hope there is another paintings meeting soon!
PS: I totally like this little horses and what you get out of them, even in thist beginning phase
